| From Kensico's Administration office, turn right and proceed southwest on Lakeview Avenue. The large area on the right is a 76 acre division of Kensico called Sharon Gardens. In response to widespread inquiries for a special section devoted to Jewish families and groups, this area was opened in 1953. Lot and acreage sales over the years confirmed the genuine need for this section. Sharon Gardens is considered by many to be one of the most attractive cemeteries in the region for families of the Jewish faith. |
