| Walk across the street from the Bendel and Manville monuments to the area directly behind the Haubold monument. Proceed about seven rows down the hill to a light pink granite monument to actress Judith Evelyn (1913-1967). Born in South Dakota, Evelyn made her acting debut in Canada. She performed in London for the first time in 1938. Returning to North America to perform in 1941, she debuted in New York later the same year. Throughout her life, Evelyn traveled extensively with the theater, touring across the United States with several productions. |
