| Past the elk, turn left onto Katahdin Avenue, continuing to where it merges with Tecumseh Avenue. Turn left on Tecumseh, past the lake, to Commerce Street. Turn right onto Commerce, heading away from the administration building. To the right, on a hill adorned with flush monuments, is a plot belonging to the Friars Club. Famous WNEW radio announcer William B. Williams is among those who are buried here. Frank Sinatra once credited Williams for having resuscitated his career. It was Williams who nicknamed Sinatra "chairman of the board." |
