| Tour Kensico |
For more than 100 years Kensico has served the people of Westchester County, New York City and the tri-state area. Organized in 1889 as a rural cemetery, it is now one of the most highly regarded cemeteries in the country. Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Valhalla, New York -- Kensico has a legacy of history dating back to the Revolutionary War. Many famous names of the past have made Kensico their final resting place.
Today, the cemetery is abundant with beautiful trees, rolling hills, exquisite sculptures and sweeping lawns. It's 461 acres are diligently maintained by the cemetery's dedicated staff of men and women who proudly carry on the tradition of Kensico. |
